Work for an entertainment company in Korea such as, SM, JYP, Cube, or YG Entertainment?

Ronald Moehr: I'd say that JYP is the best. (: SM just works their artistes too hard. 1) 18 isn't too old, but if you want to debut earlier (considering that you get in), I'd suggest you audition as soon as possible. Also, this way, you still have lots of time to keep auditioning. (: If you don't get in. 2) JYP looks for talent and passion rather than looks. SM focuses on looks. I'm not sure about the rest, but most probably they focus on talent. 3) depends on how good you are! 6) Company's decision. 7) The chances are higher than the usual live auditions, but you still have to go for the live auditions if you get selected via email. 8) I highly doubt that. Trainees have to train very hard, so you won't have time. 9) Singing and dancing of course. or some companies you have to learn languages as well. 10) I guess so, but you have to make a choice if more than one company selects you. 12) Most likely you'll debut as a singer first. Then if you want to pursue acting, you ca! n go for auditions. 13) Nope. Not true. A lot of singers don't have good education because they drop school to pursue their dreams. 14) If you can take the training, you'll probably debut someday. It's just a matter of time. A lot of trainees find the training too tough and quit halfway, so they never debut. 15) It's up to the company to decide if you're good enough to debut at that time. 16) Yes. Especially for SM artistes. 17) I'm not sure about that, but SM is pretty tough on its trainees and singers. The other companies will treat you okay. 18) Not sure, but they'll probably email you and ask you to go for the second round of auditions. 19) It's kind of low. 20) Up to the company to decide, but sometimes members can decide as well. There are some questions that I can't answer, but hopefully this will help! (:...Show more

Deangelo Marchak: Where do you live?If you live in the US then you SM Entertainment holds weekly audtions at SM EntertainmentUSA in Los Angeles. ! You would basically show up at auditions, fill out the form an! d audition. Anybody can audition as long as you are under the age of 30. As for JYP Entertainment, I do not know if they hold weekly auditions but you are allowed to mail-in or email your audtion to them. JYP Entertainment has a USA office stationed in NYC. You can go there to audition. Cube entertainment, I do not know much of. I dont believe they have an office in the US. YG does not currently have an audition system for US but you are to send in your audition through mail or email. Knowing Korean is definitely an advantage but it isnt all that necessary considering the fact that SM has Amber and Victoria who are of chinese desent and did not know korean. They were taught korean as trainees. Also, Jaebum of 2PM was taught korean. Although he is korean, he was raised in US and did not know any korean. So yeah, If you can dance, sing, or act, you've got a good chance. And I must warn you now, SM Entertainment is known to also be looking for Looks, then talent. I am not veri! fying that as the Truth, but thats what the majority of people know them for. So if you hot, then heeey. thats a plus! Anyways, hope the helped!...Show more
