Sherri Drakos: I hope that I'm not the bearer of bad news but, unless your TIVO is an older model made to work with DIRECTV, it will not work with DIRECTV (refer to the TIVO link below). The older TIVO's (and newer DVRs) require 2 cables from the dish to watch one program and record another simultaneously. There are two inputs, satellite 1 and satellite 2 on the back of the TIVO. In the TIVO setup, you have to select that you have one or two inputs.
