Sammy Hatzenbihler: I have a supernova tactical with pistol grip and only thing i put on it was an egw rail and an eotech.. i would like to get a nc mag extender but i dont feel like paying that much for just 2 rounds.. but there arent that many things you can add onto the supernova.. kinda sucks but its a good gun as is so im not too bothered by it
Michel Mccaulley: For home defense I wouldn't worry about to many whistles and bells. A good light and maybe a side saddle carriers for additional or different loads. A real stretch would be an extended magazine, a single point sling, and extendable butt stock. My home defense shotgun is pretty basic, a winchester defender with a snap on "glow worm" sight. An 18 inch barrel is the way to go for a fighting shotgun.I've shot'em all and carried some super tricked out guns for work, but no matter what you pile on a shotgun it is still going to function the same! basic way. People love to accessorize their guns but I find most shotgun accessories highly unnecessary.The one little extra I would recommend is a "breaching end" for your shotgun as it adds another dimension to the weapon and one that I have used on people pretty effectively and often. With the legal climate being what it is you have to be selective and smart before putting in some "trigger time" but you can sure take a lot of resolve out of a guy by cutting a chunk out of his chest or face with that breaching end. I also keep a standard stock on my gun for similar reasons as the pistol grip doesn't lend itself to knocking teeth out of somebody's head like a standard stock does. Just a thought....Show more
