Gilberto Cratin: Your garden should fit your personal needs. Expansion of a garden is always good so that you can save money and maybe you should grow hot peppers yourself. Also, think about what you like to eat. Grow that. If you are a beginner, start small and get bigger until YOU are satisfied.Having a big garden is also greener because you don't have to drive to the store. One sugestion I would have is to collect rainwater and use that to water your garden.Another thing to also consider putting in your garden is beans. They are very fast growing so you will need a pole for them to climb up. They need an exact amo! unt of water so don't underwater or overwater. This changes over the time of fast growth.Carrots and potatoes are slow growing but you could make fries or stew with them. You could even sell some veggies and fruits at your local farmer's market if you have excess. A garden can also give you the birthday present for you Aunt Cathy. Send her a cantaloupe from your homegrown garden.A garden is a great time and money saver and I am glad that you're building one. Good luck!...Show more
